Love

As he stared at me
With his brown glittery eyes
I could feel a soft touch in my soul
which was far from being cold.

I could hear his soothing voice
That was above all the noise
I felt the honeydews
Upon the green grass.

The sweet fragrance of the flowers
That breezed through the wind mildly
Made our heart beat wildly
Despite us looking calmly.

The whiteness of dove’s wing
Shading us from reality
Swept us to land of love
That seemed like eternity.

Black Beauty

You are too black
Yet so beautiful;
And do not lack
The continuous appreciations.

Surrounding the white cloud
With clear gleaming mist;
Encasing a shiny black pearl
Within the oyster shell.

Making a lady proud
By just a soft touch of presence
You hardly ever fade,
Even after a hard escapade.

Born from burning oil’s fumes
Almost hidden by feathery lashes
Yet making your presence felt
All over the world is your fame.

Some call you mascara,
The others-kohl;
But dear old kajal
Back at home.

Death

I stand Unseen sometimes Lurking in the dark corners Holding a scythe at the sharp turns Shrouded in black As clock ticks along ...
